Blumen und Pflanzen sind in Holland meistens viel günstiger zu haben als bei uns. Also habe ich unsere Bekannte in ein Gartencenter gelockt und dort kamen wir aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus. Es gab wunderschön bepflanzte Körbe, Hängepflanzen und Olivenbäume und noch viele andere schöne Dinge. Wir haben uns dort fast zwei Stunden aufgehalten und mußten uns sehr beherrschen, um nicht noch mehr zu kaufen.

Flowers and plants are usually quite a lot cheaper in Holland than here in Germany. I tempted our friend to accompany me to the garden centre and once we arrived there, we could not stop gaping. There were beautifully arranged baskets, flowers in hanging baskets and olive trees and many other lovely things. We stayed nearly two hours and had to restrain ourselves from buying too much.
