L wie Lernende / L as in Learner

.
Herzlichen Glückwunsch, ich bin stolz auf dich!

If we'd live in the UK, we'd now have this sign on our car. Well, we don't.
.
My daughter has passed her driver's test today and even though she is not yet 18 she is allowed to drive together with a "registered escort". With me! We owe this to a project in our county Northrhine-Westfalia. She will be allowed to drive on her own once she turns 18.
.
She's happy of course and could not await my arrival from work. We drove off to the ice-cream parlour and I managed to be patient.
.
Congratulations, I'm proud of you!
