Im Ernst: Es ging in den letzten Tagen sehr schnell. Mein Mann hat gestrichen und Mama und ich geputzt, Kartons gepackt und bewegt, Möbel ausgesucht, geplant und diskutiert. Alles wird gut.
Nach über 40 Jahren zieht sie in eine andere Wohnung, allein. Ich finde es bewundernswert und freue mich, dass sie ab Samstag ganz in unserer Nähe wohnen wird.

My mum is going to move. I think it says it all.
Seriously: it's been very hectic these past days. My man has been painting and mum and I were cleaning, packing and moving boxes, choosing furniture, planning and discussing. Everything is going to be fine.
After more than 40 years she will move into a new flat, on her own. I admire that and I'm looking forward to have her nearer to us from Saturday on.
